What do you guys think of this camera?

I know it doesn't have any kind of optical zoom on it but I don't think it would really need to be used. Opinions?

The camera gets pretty good reviews.  I am not sure if it will be the best in IR mode but it does seem to do the job.  The price is good either way.

Pretty good find, I may be adding this to my xmas list! From the youtube videos, IR does not blur which I like, but short distance, so you would probably want an external IR light as well. Seems like you can put a good amount of extra memory in too which I like. Not generally a fan of camcorders with sd cards because I feel there isn't enough space, but I think for the price its seems like a good deal.

A little bit, but i still want to use it in the field. From what I have tried so far, not that great. I got the ghoststop ir light to go with it and it is far too weak. Perhaps used with one of the bigger ir lights that brian made would make it work better. Still like my handycam more.
